Gary Hooper, Fargo, ND (twin) Marcia and Darrel Klitzke, Lemmon, SD (twin) Marla and Rev. Surviving family members include his wife, Zola, Lemmon, SD 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Melodee and Rev. He was such a kind and loving man who has left a great legacy.” People will always remember him for his infectious smile. As a former pastor said, “Lloyd Finch was a man I could always count on to show up at prayer service and always pray for his church, community, family, and pastor. Lloyd was a member of the New Hope Worship Center. During the summer months, Lloyd and Zola resided at the Klitzke farm where he helped with the farm and ranch work. Lloyd specialized in taping and texturing sheet rock. They travelled in their motor home working in 38 states assisting churches and ministry institutions with construction and evangelism projects. Following retirement, Lloyd and Zola volunteered for 15 years for MAPS (Mission America Placement Services). He began working for Boeing and worked his way up to an Engineer Assistant until retiring in 1992. In 1960, the Finch’s sold their home in Lemmon and moved to Seattle, WA applying for jobs along the way. Lloyd and Zola lived in Lemmon, Bowman, and Miles City. Lloyd continued with the railroad working his way up to a telegraph operator and learning and utilizing the Morse Code. Lloyd was united in marriage to Zola Christian on Jin Lemmon, SD. The great grandchildren are considered honorary bearers. Serving as casketbearers are Nathaniel Hooper, Travis Klitzke, Kyla Stevens, Denna Wipf, Cari Stiffel, Christa Smith, Curtis Barsness, Jarrett Stevens, Jasper Wipf, Hannah Craig and Ethan Douglas. Don Barsness officiating will follow in the Greenhill Cemetery at Lemmon. Gary Hooper will officiate and burial with Rev. A Family Service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, Decemfollowed by the funeral service at 2:00pm MT at the New Hope Worship Center in Lemmon. Finch, age 88 of Lemmon, passed from this life on Tuesday afternoon, Novemat his home in Lemmon. ![]()
